We met Adrienne at our own Beth's shibori workshop - she was wearing a vintage kimono we couldn't ignore. She's a woman's woman- a mamma hen to her college-aged son with a strong sense of self. It's no surprise California boasts a ripe crop of mid-century modern architecture, but discovering these gems outside of the southern coastal and desert cities is particularly exciting. Our new friend, Elizabeth (who by chance is also close with some of our other pals here), is lucky enough to actually inhabit one in Sacramento.
